Ken was ordained a deacon in the Roman Rite in 1987, a priest in 1998 by Bishop Allen Jiminez of the Old Catholic Church of Utrecht, and a bishop in 2009 by Bishops Jimenez and our good friends, Bishops Peter Paul Brennan and Joe Grenier. He currently works full time as a Human Resource Director for a Philadelphia manufacturer, and has been in industry for 40 years in human resources as a labor negotiator, manager and director. His ministry is primarily in geriatrics, where he is an associate chaplain at a Bucks County Nursing Home.
He is also involved in wedding ministry. When he read our diocesan charism on our web page, www.OneSpiritCatholic.org, he said that he felt it in his heart that the Spirit was leading him here. Ken is married and has 7 grandchildren. Because of his long experience in chaplaincy in nursing and assisted living homes, Ken has agreed to establish a program within the Catholic Diocese of One Spirit for current and/or future members who wish to become accredited and devote part or all of their ministry to this wonderful field. This fits right in with our diocesan concept of ministry, because a bishop here is one who mentors and supports a concentric circle of others in the same spiritual field. While Ken is still working full time, this will be a part-time endeavor, but all good things will come in time!

Will was born in the wild and beautiful County of Donegal in the West of Ireland where the hills sweep down to meet the awe and power of the clear blue Atlantic Ocean. All too soon the family moved to London and it was there on the 15th July 1968 that he was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Southwark, England. His first assignments were typical of those days, appointments to different parishes punctuated by periods teaching in Catholic High Schools.
In 1982 he received a Certificate in Marriage Counseling and appointed to establish and direct a marriage preparation program in the diocese. In the Spring of 1986 Will met a wonderful and gracious woman, Jo Anne, from Richmond, Virginia. She was a single Mom, with three children, 2 of whom were in the local Catholic school. Gradually, over some years, Will felt that his future was with her and her children, and so in the summer of 1994 they together moved to Virginia.
After some time Will fortuitously met Jim Burch, and was introduced to wedding ministry. Will and JoAnne now own a wedding venue in rural Virginia, Rock Hill Plantation, where they bless many marriages that Will officiates. They also now have another younger son.

Mary Rahall was ordained a deacon within the Catholic Archdiocese of One Spirit on September 7, 2011 in Upper Marlboro, MD. Mary has a heart as big as we humans are allowed, and brings a great deal of love to all her endeavors. 26 years ago Mary helped her friend’s daughter plan a wedding and felt the calling to do whatever she could to create the perfect weddings for couples who began to hire her. First she did wedding planning, then created a company to do invitations and accessories as well, and finally became one of only 37 master bridal consultants in the world.
Counseling also seemed to be ancillary to her involvement. Finally in 2010 she responded to the desire to really create the perfect wedding atmosphere by becoming a civil officiant. But she wasn’t satisfied with that either. Her strong Catholic faith told her that she wanted to accentuate the spiritual aspects of these occasions. At the same time her faith was moving from the acceptance to whatever came from the hierarchy to a greater understanding of the God of Love being within every person and every couple The Catholic Archdiocese of One Spirit answered her needs by being a group of progressive Catholic Christians, and encouraging every spiritual event to be meaningful for the group being served.

When he left the Roman canonical priesthood, he married his wife, Molly, and then was in private practice as a licensed psychotherapist until he retired several years ago.
Paul and Molly have each suffered some almost-devastating (for most people other than them) illnesses in the past few years but are now on the roads to recovery. Paul is filled with passion and joy. He lights up a room. Paul teaches from his experiences by his actions, how to be more fully human, gracious and kind, accepting of the abundance of God’s gifts, and tolerant of the ways we all meander through the paths of life.

However, he was fired after 3 years, because the local bishop thought too many of the priests in his program were leaving the priesthood.
In 1976 he received his Doctorate in Theology and the Personality Sciences from the Graduate Theological Center, Berkeley, CA. He then returned to Detroit to open another 6 week summer program toward a master’s degree, again with notable professors: Gregory Baum, Gabriel Moran, Robert MacAfee Brown, Paulo Freri, Dan Barrigan, Martin Marty. Dave says, “Those were heady years.” Married in 1974, Dave and Ann have four children, Michael, Charles, Matthew and Becca, and four grandchildren. One year into their new marriage, Dave entered law school, got his law degree in 1980, and has practiced law as a sole practitioner for over 30 years. Tim is a CPA, and runs a credit union consulting company (www.forteamresources.com) that takes him around the country on seminars and consulting jobs. Tim is a very level-headed, feet-to-the-ground person, with a dedicated spirituality that has, over the years, come to see an emptiness in overly-orchestrated and overly-institutionalized religion, and to see a consistent beauty in divinity revealed in all creation and all people. He is a seasoned person, with a ministerial gift that is very deep, rather than very widespread. He is a valued addition to the many talents and ministries of our diocese. He was ordained a non-denominational minister several years ago because of his love for spirituality and his desire to share blessings with others, much of it an outgrowth of his years on the front lines of medical trauma.
Matt recently came to appreciate contemporary Catholicism and has fed his compulsion to read contemporary theology books. Since recently earning a Bachelors of Theology, Matt is now working towards his Masters of Divinity. Currently, his primary focus is in providing wedding services and support for the dying. Timothy O’Connell was ordained to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Newark NJ in 1966. Immediately he began his journey for justice for all, first by writing a letter published in National Catholic Reporter that priests had every right to be married and/or to be women, which summarily brought a rebuke from his bishop. After that he walked arm-in-arm with Martin Luther King, Jr. against the Vietnam War and was immediately confined by his bishop to New Jersey.
Not long thereafter, Timothy was removed by the bishop of Newark from active ministry in the institutional Church in 1968, after signing a letter (with 27 other priests who were not removed) asking Pope Paul VI to change Humanae Vitae and to leave birth control decisions to the informed consciences of the couples involved. All that did was to catapult Timothy into greater service to aggrieved humanity. Timothy married, and was blessed with three “deeply Human” children, now 13 to 30 years old. He is completing the work necessary to achieve “the permanent experience of The Complete Man (always and only a gift of the Divine) for the benefit of all and the realization of Humanity One.”
Timothy is a powerful teacher of “steadily shedding all constraints of dogma and ego belief while completing an internal journey across all the parameters of the Human psyche to find ‘the Kingdom within.’ This is The Kingdom of which Jesus, the Christ, and all realized and enlightened Teachers and Masters speak and teach.” Timothy works as a health care facilitator in the public school system, and has an active wedding ministry.

Scott Ziegler was ordained a Catholic priest on October 26, 2008. Scott lives in Virginia Beach with his wife Lisa and his five children. He was a police chaplain for eight years, currently teaches high school and has a full-time wedding ministry. Given a background and seeped activities such as these, Scott is very practical in seeing the beauty of the Christ message at “street level,” feet-on-the-ground. He speaks very clearly and to the point, and has a great way of reaching people as a genuine person they can admire.
Scott grew up in the Nazarene Church, and became active in the Missionary Alliance Church in Virginia, where he was studying for ordination and ministering as a youth minister and police chaplain. Scott says, “the judgment, guilt, and rigidity that I experienced, participated in, and to some degree perpetuated and which I came to realize caused myself and others a great deal of pain, motivated me to find a truer version of Christianity and launched my study of progressive Christianity.” Because our diocese seeks to find new ways of expression of the Good News, we applaud and welcome Scott’s adherence to this basic Catholic principal and then his translating it to practical measures to reach those he serves.

Patricia (Patty) Fuller was ordained as a deacon by Bishop Burch in early 2009. She is very anxious to learn all she can about becoming an effective minister, and is studying theology online. She became ordained by a non-denominational Christian ministry, but felt that One Spirit Catholic suited her personal belief system perfectly. Patty grew up in the Friends Church. With a background as an EMT and a police officer, she returned to college and received her BA after she turned forty.
Patty volunteered as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) in Ohio. She taught Special Education, but retired after an injury. She felt called to the ministry and began studying theology online on her own. Currently, she volunteers with a free health care clinic as her ministry, and is working with a non-profit organization to set up a battered women’s home in the Orlando area. Patty has one daughter and writes freelance articles and novels.

Michael (Mike) Charles Richard is currently an ordained Methodist minister and pastor of three small churches in West Virginia, and has been a pastor in the United Methodist Church for nineteen years, and is honored there for his preaching and teaching. He knows how to take scholarly observations and to make them palatable and exciting for congregations. In this, he conveys a wholesome and positive affirmation of the goodness of life.
Mike was also ordained a Catholic priest for the Catholic Diocese of One Spirit on May 12, 2009, agreeing with our diocese that there is no reason a person cannot minister in two or more spiritual areas where he/she agrees with the basic principles of each. He has a M.Div. and a D.Min, a very progressive bent that gives him a feeling of “coming alive” in his faith, and a love for Catholic liturgical practice. He was a fellow at Duquesne University in their theological program, and has an extensive background in progressive Catholicism. Mike is the father of four teenagers.

Noah Panlilio
Suburban Chicago, IL
pstrnoah@comcast.net
Noah was ordained a Catholic priest within the Catholic Diocese of One Spirit by Bishop Richard Mickley. He has served, and is currently still serving, as pastor of a United Methodist Church. Our diocese is delighted with this kind of mixture of Protestantism and Catholicism, in which people acknowledge their powerful heritage and open as well to new light.
Noah is a great example of a Protestant minister who exemplifies the best of Protestant theology with the best of Catholic theology and general Christian love of the poor. Noah leads charitable travels to the Philippines almost every year with members of his congregation who work with churches and the poor. He has two daughters.

tneally1@verizon.net
Toni Neally was ordained a priest in the Catholic Diocese of One Spirit by Bishop Michael Carroll on January 14, 2012. She just retired from her (first) life profession last year, so she considers herself fortunate to be able to devote all her time to ministry. She started the first three years of her adult life as a Roman Catholic nun, which she describes as a life changing experience … being able to reflect and meditate on what she wanted to accomplish in this life. This was the time she knew she was called to the priesthood, and views her current calling as the culmination of her life’s preparation. For most of her professional life, Toni was a social worker, first in child protective services and foster care, then in mental health crisis counseling.
For two years in the late ‘90s, she was an executive recruiter, then returned to in-home counseling and as supervisor for a staff of 15 in-home counselors. She has a B.A. in psychology and a MSW in social work. For many years she was a lector and commentator at her local parish, and 5 years as minister of religious education. She was a Catholic deacon for 5 years preceding her ordination to the priesthood. Today, Toni volunteers for state crisis intervention as a mental health counselor for first responders. She is enthralled with healthy spirituality and sees constant growth in the CDOS environment. Toni has three adult children and lives in Virginia Beach, VA.

Kenwin Benn
148 Danbury Street, SW
Washington, DC 20032
202-215-5945
brogenmore@hotmail.com
Kenwin found the calling to the priesthood percolating throughout his life, but really becoming impassioned when he and his wife Kayhoru (“Kay”) were married by Bishop Jim Burch in 2002, and he heard the spirituality of Jesus in a new way. From then on, Kay would tell him, “We both know what will make you happy; you should just go do it.” So he did.
Kenwin, who has an M.S. from American University in Information Sciences, came from a distinguished corporate background. He spent formative years in IBM sales, then on to being a Director at Unisys (“Man of the Year” award), and up the corporate ladder: Senior VP of Operations for Systems Engineering and Management Associates, Principle at KB & Associates, then on to his wife’s home country of Japan, where he was Adjunct Professor in the Business School of Anaheim University in Tokyo.
Returning from Tokyo, He was accepted by The University of the West Indies School of Theology Codrington College and graduated with his M.A. in theology. Kenwin is a Ph.D. candidate at Trinity Theological Seminary. He has been an accredited Lay Minister at the (Episcopal) National Cathedral in Washington, DC. His concentration has been in pastoral care and counseling. Kenwin has always had a belief that spirituality should be more than that just academic, magisterial and clerical, and he never misses a chance to challenge and get people thinking. He was ordained a deacon in the Catholic Diocese of One Spirit on March 21, 2012, and he will be ordained a priest at the diocesan convocation at Myrtle Beach at the end of this summer.

[Incognita 1]
United States of America
The Catholic Diocese of One Spirit is honored to be able to encourage and validate the calling to priestly ministry of women. Among the most remarkable women alive today are thousands of Roman Catholic nuns, many of whom are called to ordination. Our “incognita” priest is a prominent Roman Catholic sister.
She has been ordained “in camera.” Just as Rome designates cardinals “in camera” and then is justified in denying their identities because of the grave danger of persecution if such designation becomes known, so too do we ordain current Roman Catholic nuns (others are in the pipeline) “in camera” and deny identifying them. Sadly, this is because of the real danger of rejection, ejection and homelessness which would befall them from their own church if such ordination were known. God bless these brave and dedicated women!
